But does that mean that social media marketing experts should avoid Facebook altogether? Absolutely not! Despite its major drawbacks Facebook still remains a social media giant with over 2.20 billion active monthly users as compared to Instagram’s 800 million active monthly users. An efficient and effective Facebook strategy is still a must for brands to reach out to a wider population, but Instagram is truly the place to be for a younger, more engaged audience base.
